Why some audio signals can be generated from some audio files while others can't?

Hi all,
I'm trying to generate an audio signal from file via RFSG 5660. Although I used several examples, so far I failed to get all types of WAV audio files work. Any idea on this?
I don't need more examples, I just need some explanation. I searched the website, but, still not satisfied with teh results!.
